What is Climb From Zero?

Climb From Zero is a crypto trading simulator with a story: real Bitcoin and Ethereum prices, fake money, and a mentor who never gives tips. You start at 21 with $100 found in your grandmother’s coat, learn from Robin in 37 short lessons, practise on real market history, and trade live Bitcoin and Ethereum prices with the game’s money, climbing through a story with no deadlines.

Do I need real money to play?

No. The $100 you start with is game money, found in the story. You never deposit anything, nothing in the game is real money or real cryptocurrency, and nothing can be won. Climb Pro is an optional subscription, and the start of the climb is free without it.

Is it real money?

No. Every dollar in the game is pretend, and the game never connects to an exchange, a wallet or a broker. The prices are real, the money is not. Nothing you do in the game can win or lose real money, and nothing in it is financial advice.

What does it teach?

37 short lessons in 8 tracks: Foundations (markets, candles, levels, indicators, orders, position size), Risk and money, The crypto world (including how to spot scams), Trading psychology, Reading the market, Leverage explained, Strategies, and Money outside the charts. Every lesson ends with a quiz, and Robin explains with real charts and pictures.

What is free, and what does Climb Pro cost?

Free: the prologue, Chapter 1, and live trading with your $100 of game money until your account reaches $150 (about the first week). Free always: Foundations and the scam-safety lessons, today’s practice round, 3 blind replay rounds a day, the first two history challenges, quick drills, the Library and three of Robin’s trade reviews. Climb Pro is the rest of the climb: trading past $150 and the story to the end, all 37 lessons, unlimited practice, every history challenge, leverage practice, Robin’s review of every trade and the desk’s chart drawing tools, for $49.99 a year (with a 7-day free trial) or $7.99 a month, billed through the App Store or Google Play. If you stop, your open trades keep running and everything you did stays.

Can I buy my way up?

No. There are no ads, no boosts and no way to buy money, XP or progress. Every dollar you climb is earned by trading well and keeping your own rules. Climb Pro opens more of the story and the course; it never moves the climb for you.

Will it make me ready to trade with real money?

It will teach you what most beginners learn the hard way: a plan before every trade, a stop you set while calm, sizing so one loss can’t sink you, and the habit of reviewing your trades. Results with fake money don’t predict results with real money, so treat the game as practice, not proof, and never trade money you can’t afford to lose.

What is the desk?

The same game on a computer. Buy a laptop in the game and your desk opens in any web browser: a big live chart, the order ticket beside it, your journal and your story, all the same account as your phone. With Climb Pro you can draw on the desk’s chart (trend lines, zones, Fibonacci, notes and a risk box), and your drawings show on your phone.

Who is Robin, and what are Robin’s reviews?

Robin is your mentor in the story. Ask Robin about a closed trade and the game measures what you could have known when you entered: where your stop sat against support and resistance, how far that was in ATRs, your size against your own rules. Robin then reviews it in plain words, and can look for habits across your last 20 trades. The reviews are written by AI (Google’s Gemini) from those numbers. Robin never gives tips or tells you what to buy.

When can I play?

Soon on iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The game is in final testing; this page will link to both stores as soon as the listings are live.

Which coins can I trade?

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), priced in USDT, with live prices. Replay rounds and history challenges use real price history, including the March 2020 crash and the 2022 Merge.

Do I need an account?

No. A new game starts as a guest. To keep your game when you change phones, or to open it on your desk, sign in with Google, Apple or a username and password from Settings → Your account. Sign in before you uninstall: a guest game can’t be found again without it.

Does Climb Pro follow me to my other devices?

Yes. Climb Pro belongs to your game, so signing in to the same game on another phone or on your desk brings it along. On a new device you can also tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the store account you bought with.

Is there a deadline or a timer?

No. Every chapter goal (grow $100 to $1,000, pay a $5,000 bill, three good months in a row) has no due date. A game month (your pay and living costs) passes once a real week, and the clock stops charging if you’re away for more than two game months.

What happens if I lose all the money?

You go broke in the story, look back at what happened with Robin, and start again from $100, keeping everything you’ve learned. That’s part of the lesson, not the end of the game.

Can I draw on the chart on my phone?

Yes, in replay rounds: trend lines, rays, horizontal lines, zones, Fibonacci, notes and risk boxes, with a magnifier under your finger and snapping to the candles’ highs and lows. They’re saved with the round. On the live chart you draw on the desk (with Climb Pro) and your drawings show on your phone.

What is the practice journal?

Every replay round you finish is kept: the chart with your drawings, each trade’s plan (why you took it and what you expected), your notes after it closed (did the market accept your plan, what happened, what you’d do better), and the candles after the round ended, so you can see what the market did next. Without Climb Pro your latest 5 rounds open; with it, all of them, plus a spreadsheet export and Robin’s review of practice trades.

Is leverage in the game?

Yes, with Climb Pro. You can practise it in replay rounds (up to 10x) from the start. In your account it opens in two steps: up to 3x once your account has reached $500 and you’ve done the homework (the two Leverage lessons, a whole replay round with leverage and no liquidation, and your own rules written), and up to 10x once the story’s bill is paid. The ticket shows the liquidation price before you trade. How much you risk is up to you.

Is there an Apple Watch app or a widget?

Yes. On iPhone, the Your climb widget (home screen and Lock Screen) and the Apple Watch app show your chapter, your money against its goal, your open trades with their stops and targets, and the next task. On Android there’s a home-screen widget. They show what the game knew the last time it was open, and say when that was.

What are the drills and the Library?

Drills are five quick rounds on real price history with the coin and dates hidden: spot the support, read the trend, name the candle, place the stop. The Library is a shelf of public-domain books on markets and money, from Reminiscences of a Stock Operator to the South Sea Bubble, that opens as your story goes on, with a note from Robin before each part. Both are free.

What data do you keep?

Your game (progress, pretend trades, journal notes and rules) on our server so it follows you between devices, your sign-in if you make one, and records of Climb Pro purchases. No ads in the game, no third-party analytics, and nothing is sold. To measure our own Facebook and Instagram ads, the phone apps tell Meta when they are opened and when Climb Pro is bought (with the advertising ID on Android), never anything from your game; turn it off in You → Settings → Share installs with Meta. See the privacy policy for everything.

How do I delete my account?

You → Settings → Delete account. It deletes your game and everything kept with it straight away. Deleting doesn’t cancel a Climb Pro subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.

Who makes it?
